Rainsoft has the hardest sales pitch I have had in awhile.
Page 2

Had to kick the guy out of my house after he came to do the free water test I had to do to get entered to when the $1,000 offered by Home Depot. Thanks Home Depot for setting up a scam booth in your store for customers to get suckered into with Rainsoft.

I am considering not shopping at Home Depot because I will never get that 2 hours of my life back because of them. Please do not sign up for give-aways at Home Depot nothing good can come for the masses on these deals. Again thanks Home Depot heading to Lowes.

RainSoft makes me so *** just to experience the feeling of fresh water cleansing my labia and skimming across my erected nipples. :zzz

Just got through kicking the Rainsoft guy out of my house. Basically I had to commit to buy tonight and the price would be 7870. ANy other time it would be 9999. LOL!

Wanted to call his manager and the whole deal but I ultimately was blunt and told him it was not happening and that the tactics were not consistent with legitimate/upstanding business practice.

Remember, signing up for a free grill or washer/dryer combo is just a way to get a "lead". Your name goes onto a list so the lying telemarketers can get you to agree to a "free" water test and get a gift ($20 Home Depot card) or something else. The purpose is to cheat yo out of your hard earned mony under the pretense of GREAT water for your family for a lifetime. The reality is a $830 carbon filter tank is sold to you for $1500 or more, remember the mark-up because everyone gets a piece of the sale- the salesman, sales manager, owner, telemarketer, installer and rainsoft. And remember....20% on the unpaid balance, $5000-$7000 over 5 years, every month 20% (19.99%) on the unpaid balance so a $5000 system will cost YOU about $8000-$9000 in the end. That's why they want to install it the very next day! You'll be less inclined to say no if it's installed and you don't have a chance to think about what you are really going to spend. The sales program is made to teach the suckers that need a job to "sell the dream" and use high pressure and con you into buying a system. Do yourself a favor, when they call offering a free water test...tell them to *** off and hang up. You'll save yourself 3 hours of your life and $3 - $9000 of you money.

You are all border line retarded. You have to speak your minds on here saying how big of a scam it is. I'm a competitor. For you to not buy it is ignorant. Simply retarded. Let's put 20,000 in my pocket and enjoy all the benefits shown. HMMMMM. WOW you wouldn't take 20 grand? Not even if it meant you could provide your family with a better way of life

It's not a scam. I don't think there is anything wrong with them marketing in home depot. Home depot isn't telling YOU to do anything, and Rainsoft's presentation isn't JUST a sales pitch.

Listen, if you agree to participate in the presentation you're AGREEING to see what they have to say, and it's not just a "buy my product".

You HAVE to give them an answer that night ONLY for the deal, you can get it whenever you want or NEVER if you don't want.

Also, the system isn't some cheap charcoal system or JUST a water softener.

Sorry if you had a bad experience with your rep or your product, but from my experience the product is great and the rep I had was phenomenal. The time FLEW by during his demonstration, and we love to have ACTUALLY clean water.

We just endured a couple of hours yesterday also. What a total scam. He seem shocked when I told him that I wanted to think about it before I bought a $7K water filter. I had to basically pack his crap and kick him out to get him out of my house. I think a complaint to HD sounds like a good idea.
