We were finally able to personally speak to Mr. Currie today. We understand his frustration and acknowledge that some of the information he was given was not accurate. We were told when we had our Rainsoft System installed for nearly $7,000 (a total rip-off by the way) that it was very simple to maintain. "All you need is to purchase some salt once a year".

Now we get a call from a Rainsoft rep who says we need to pay a service fee of $150 otherwise the system will breakdown! Are you kidding me?!! What a scam. In addition, they told us we would get all this free soap etc etc.

But they did not deliver this. We had to call to make sure it came.

Seems like this is done on the premise that most people forget to call back. Another example of scamming the public.
